La Salle Foundation was established in 1998 at the initiative of the Provincial Congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools. It has recently renewed its organizational structure and, in 2014, obtained recognition as a ONLUS(Non-Profit Organization of Social Utility).

Its primary purpose is to promote educational, cultural, and social initiatives for the benefit of young people, especially those living in situations of disadvantage, marginalization, or risk, as well as persons with disabilities and the indigent who are unable to bear the costs of school tuition. The Foundation devotes particular attention to Lasallian institutions, both in Italy and throughout the rest of the world.
