Istituti Filippin – La Salle International Campus
Paderno del Grappa

The Filippin Institutes, now La Salle International Campus, owe their foundation and name to Monsignor Erminio Filippin, who established them in 1924 in Paderno del Grappa and served as their director until 1958. From that date, management passed to the Congregation of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, who expanded the educational offerings by introducing new programs for upper secondary education and establishing a boarding school. Since 1974, the Institute, initially reserved for male students only, has also welcomed female students. The Filippin Institute is constantly engaged in educational research aimed at improving curricula to equip students with the skills needed to face the challenges of the 21st century. Today, the world is increasingly connected to digital technology, so much so that terms like Generation 2.0 and digital natives are commonly used. In response, the service and industrial sectors require schools to provide young people with more direct access to new technologies and their practical applications. These skills are no longer considered necessary only for the workplace but are also seen as an important cultural and social tool. Based on this premise, the Filippin Institute, rooted in the rich Lasallian pedagogical tradition, is specifically dedicated to ongoing educational research to enhance curricula, focusing on the acquisition of digital and IT skills by students. In addition, the Institute aims to strengthen students’ linguistic and international education and to foster creativity, imagination, and innovation, while emphasizing the importance of the global and digital context in which students operate.
