Istituto La Salle
Parma

More than a century and a half ago, the Brothers of the Christian Schools arrived in Parma. For over 180 years, the Brothers have successfully carried forward the educational and formative work of Saint John Baptist de La Salle, benefiting countless generations in Parma. The Institute provides facilities and spaces suitable for children of all ages, from nursery to lower secondary school. The campus includes drawing classrooms, science labs, English classrooms, a computer lab, projection rooms, a library, and an auditorium/theater with 400 seats. Additionally, there is a well-organized in-house cafeteria with meals prepared in our own kitchen. Strong emphasis is placed on School-Family relationships, based on the belief that the education of young people can only succeed through mutual trust and shared educational goals. The nursery welcomes children from 12 months of age, offering an educational program that values all aspects of the person, embraces diversity as a strength, and promotes each child’s personal and cultural identity through a personalized learning path. The primary and lower secondary schools are organized into two sections, serving a total of approximately 400 students. The curriculum consists of 30 hours per week, spread over five days from Monday to Friday. Across all school levels, the educational offering is enriched with a wide range of extracurricular activities, including Cambridge certification preparation courses, enrichment courses in mathematics and physics, Latin, writing workshops, DELE Spanish certification, theater, English conversation, and more. The Institute’s multisport program also offers various sports courses, as well as instrumental music lessons and choir.
