Torino

The La Salle Private Primary and Lower Secondary School is located in the city of Grugliasco, in the outer belt of Turin. In 2012, a new building for the primary classes was inaugurated, and beneath this new structure, a large covered open space called the “amphitheater” was created. All classrooms are equipped with computers, screens, projectors, and blackout curtains to optimize the use of available technology. The school features a spacious tree-lined park where students can “breathe and play” during breaks. Within this area, there is also a small building used as changing rooms, a large synthetic grass soccer field built in 2017, and a multipurpose court where, in 2022, the old surface was replaced with new grass suitable for both five-a-side soccer and tennis. Additional classrooms for after-school programs, a second music room, a multipurpose hall, and a gym are located near the large parking area. The La Salle School places great emphasis on safety, both regarding its facilities and the protection of all users, especially minors. Throughout the year, numerous inspections and checks are carried out to ensure compliance with current regulations in such a large environment. At the end of the school day, many students attend the after-school program, while others participate in various extracurricular courses offered until 6:00 p.m., including athletics, karate, soccer, tennis, art workshops, musical workshops with piano, drums, guitar, and electric guitar lessons, Latin courses, writing workshops, and more. The La Salle School of Grugliasco is open Monday to Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. From 6:00 p.m., sports facilities and certain rooms are also used by local associations and private citizens for training, tournaments, assemblies, conferences, and recreational events. During the summer, to provide additional support to the families of both boarding and day students, the school organizes 8 to 9 weeks of the “LaSallEstate” summer camp.
